Now that I decided to insulate the interior to reduce heat I might as well replace the carpets as well. Driver side has a whole but the floor mat cover it so I wasn't too concerned.. but putting it back after insulating I won't do. Any suggestions on where to get new carpet? Anything to stay away from?
Again, is it better to buy a kit? Everything inside this car is red including the carpets. I get concerned about color matching / clashing...
Believe it or not, got mine from Dewitts. Shipped right to my house from ACC factory. Color is perfect and he had the best price(for a Collector Edition)
I found mine on ebay (buy it now) for $224 with insured shipping. It was shipped straight from ACC, and it was there within 4 days of the auction ending. It sounded like the guy had been doing it for a while, and had all of the options of years and colors, if you are interested, i can look for the link, or the guys email. For the record, it is an oyster 80, and the carpet did have the jute padding, and ALL of the pieces, including some extras that i dont know what they are for :D .
I bought my carpet at WILLCOX Corvette. They only charge approx. $149 for the whole set (with pad) and the quality was top of the line! I recommend WILLCOX for ALL interior parts! http://www.yankeelady.com/willcox/willcox2.htm#carpet
