Actually heat and a defroster are two things that I can not go without on my car. For those chilly cruising nights I like to roll the windows down and turn the heat up a little bit. My windows also seem to fog up rather easily so a defroster is a must. I never use air conditioning...if it's nice out the windows are down. :)

I just installed two valves today that I purchased at O'Reillys Auto Supply. Seven dollars for the 5/8" and nine dollars for the 3/4" shut off valve (same as shown in previous post photo). Very easy to install between the a/c compressor and the fender hose clip. I have not had a chance to drive and check interior temprature.

Well, I went and bought 2 valves ($3.99 and $4.99 at AutoZone) and stuck 'em in there....great! This is the first mod I've made to by newly-acquired '79 Vette. Haven't had her but 10 days! :yesnod: :cool: :cheers:
