Dumb Question
I recently bought a 79 L82 Corvette with a manual transmisiom. The car has a hurst shifter. Is the shifter a stock option or was this installed by bubba? Thanks in advance :conehead

I'd agree - Bubba did it.... is the **** at the end have handgrips with the word hurst and it has a 'huge' accordian boot ??? - that's the aftermarket type. Just about every old auto-Camaro on the road has one.
The originals had a push-button **** that was round (although the shaft might be imprinted 'Hurst' with a small boot fit nicely into your console.) :yesnod:
