Default Transistorized L88 Distributor.

Gentlemen: I have had in my possession, for about the last 30 yrs. an old transistorized tach. drive distributor. It is a Delco Remy unit with ID. band on it . The # is 1111295 7H7. I believe that relates to a 1968 L88 Corvette. It has the original Brown cap on it and what looks to be blue factory paint markings. The drive gear has no wear makings, as though it's never been run. I don't even know who gave this unit to me 30 years ago. I know that my older brother and friends, used to buy crate engines from GM at the time and used them for racing. Back then the distributor my have been pulled in favor of dual point set-ups. Could you please advise of what the fair market value would be? I'm not in any dire need to sell, just want to get an idea. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Can anyone help with the #s and date code?

Thanks George. email: sofine69@frontiernet.net

Check with the guys over in Correct Restorations, Chuck Gongloff is one of the NCRS gurus and can probably tell you all about it. The link to their forum section is http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zeroforum?id=77
Good Luck!
