In a few weeks I'll be able to start working on my car again, I have given up on putting on a serpentine drive conversion as just being too expensive, but I do want to upgrade some of my brackets. Currently my 69 has the really cheesy alternator mount that doesn't bolt to the driverside head. I seem to remember that 72-?-76 model SB cars had different more secure main mount cradle that bolted to the driverside head. My heads have the bolt holes for accessories, so it should bolt up. Does anyone have a part number or source for the later style mount? I noticed looking at some of the 'vette suppliers that there is an aluminum mount and a cast iron mount. Aluminum might be nice, it might cut down on a little weight, will these work?
Thanks
