vintage air pulley alignment

vintage air pulley alignment
it's a 72 350 with headers, short pump,p/s, engine driven fan and third pulley added to crank. i haven't called vintage (it's too early there) but i want feedback from other members.
with the brackets and compressor mounted, the most forward pulley on the compressor seems to be lined up with the water pump pulley's middle flange (between the two belt grooves). in order to engage the crank add-on pulley, i'll have to move the compressor about an inch forward. i can use spacers to move the brackets forward, but i'm concered about vibration. anyone else have this problem?
also the compressor has top-side ports-will the hoses clear the hood?
