Need part number/source for bigblock dowels
I'm building a new engine, and I need the dowels on the block decks that locate the heads, and also the dowels that locate the bellhousing. Anybody know the numbers and some sources for these?
They can be difficult to remove. You may have already taken them out with vise-grips...dunno. Most machine shops use some variation of the tool below since the dowel is usually re-used after decking and using vise grips does a job on them.

Okay, gotcha now. The block is new, and the cheap sob's at Chevrolet don't include these parts. Would have been nice if they could have just thrown these things in a bag for the customer's convenience.
