Get this. I went to the machine shop yesterday to have some work done on the 383 motor and the guy gave me a job!! I think we must've hit it off or something. I can't wait to start. There's so much to learn :yesnod:
I can't believe this. I start on Tuesday. But I'm also gonna keep my old job at Best Buy as a computer technician there for awhile becuase it's experience in the field I want to be in. But building motors is cool! I was there with the owner Paul Rock(Not sure on the spelling of his last name) the other day, and I reground a crank for a 351 with him, and resurfaced a set of heads.
You are getting experience that some people pay for, and getting paid for it! Plus you are making connections that will serve you well in the future.
Good Luck on the job.
