You will need the yoke w/straps. There is not enougth room by the diff to slide the yoke out of the tailshaft, so the driveshaft has to be disconnected at both ends....

If you order up a 200R4 w/yoke from BTO and mention it's for a Vette, the strap type is what they will send you

I just did this swap, it's like a whole different car. I did a swap to vortec heads at the same time so the added power and the overdrive are going to get me into trouble. I did a little high speed out on a lonely stretch of freeway, at 120,(verified by the gps) it was like nothing was holding it back and there was a lot left, but i backed off and let it shift into 4th. With the old TH400 it was like I was dragging a weight around all the time. Now at 90 it's not even working hard, I have to concentrate on keeping it slowed down.
