Ignition relay - do you know where it is?

Relay is on top the starter. The 'R' terminal should go to the coil which is the 12V start power (yellow wire). Then a resistance wire (it's black on my 71') that comes from the bulkhead connector on the firewall to the same coil lug which is the run (lower voltage) power. You'll have to start probing with a voltmeter to find out why you are not getting power on that lead. Check the bulkhead connector first then under the dash.

Yes but it is not coming from the starter R terminal,its feeding down from the pos term of the coil,as Duke was saying you need to check the other wire at the coil because thats where the 12 volts should be coming from in the ON position.
