Had the mouse out today, 40 degrees not snowing just right for a Cdn. top down cruise. With 1bad69 as co-pilot and MotorHead on my wing we were enoying the first cruise of '02. Hurry up spring. :seeya
40 degrees with the top down....yikes . I would think that a 40 degree cruise with the top down would be quite cold. Glad to hear you had the 'Vette out...you are luckier than I :(.
That's normal in Canada when we get the spring Corvettee itch. Tops off with the heater on. Love it! I have never driven with my tops on. Maybe that is why I have three sets of tops (fiberglass, glass, vinyl) that have never been used. Pristine.
A little better here. In the low 80s. Decided to drive the vette to work. 15
year old daughter needed a ride to school. Somehow I ended up in the passenger seat. Well four smokes and about 6 miles later. I was back in the driver's seat heading to work. When I got there started looking for someone who could spare a valium or two.
now there s a brave man. I loaned my vette to my then girl friend once to go on a beer run and as she came in to the drive way she crashed into three garbage cans. She cried I laughed  The cans were RubberMaid   Should have stuck with the other then go friend now that women could drive :yesnod: The sexiest thing was watching her drive me home in my 455superduty with the rock crusher 4spd what a women
Puttin' my 4x4 tires on the vette today to get up the stairs of the church and rescue SuperFast's fiance, wish me luck all, btw if not back in a month or so, don't come lookin'.
I only know the good feeling of "first drive of the season" because I've had times when my vette has been on jackstands for long periods of time. It's great to get it out and drive after long periods of waiting. Luckily, we've had a really mild winter here and I've been able to get the vette out at least once per week. When high 60's are common, I'll be driving much more often. Amazing about the different concepts of 'driving weather' between the warm and cold climates.
