For the factory side pipes only Hedman and Stahl make headers that you can mate to the factory pipes. You still have to cut the sidepipes(they're meant to match up to factory exhaust manifold) and fabricate a header flange to pipe piece.
Another option is the Hooker Headers and their sidepipes. But if you are going to go that route talk to JCL(Jim Laughlin) at Spiral Turbo Specialties.
He can set you up with side pipes to match the Hooker headers and his spiral baffles. The baffles are a much better option then any of the inserts Hooker sells as mufflers for the side pipes.
You can get any of the Hooker, Hedman stuff at Summits. The factory stuff from your favorite vette part vendor, I think Corvette Central has the best price but I'm not sure. Someone(vendor) has a whole package for about $700 that includes fiberglass covers.
If you have any interest, I have a set of unused Hooker Super Comp headers with 1 3/4" primaries and 3" collectors. I purchased them when I put a new 383 in my '72, but they didn't fit with the performer rpm heads. They are a little scratched from the install and taking back off, but were never used on the car. Basically, I laid them in the engine bay before dropping in the new engine, then bolted them up. I had the car towed to the muffler shop to get the exhuast done only to find the the collectors wouldn't clear the floor boards. They pulled them out and put different headers in.
Anyway, they are $290 new from summit, and I have no use for them and obviously 1 1/2 later I can't return them. Any interest?
