The car has been up on the rack for about 6 weeks now and my 500 mile old TKO 600 is leaking a very small drop every day from the tail shaft, not the seal around the shaft, but from the end of the shaft the best I can tell. I'm going to pull the drive shaft and inspect it, but have you guys had similar issues and if so how did you fix it?
I called Keisler and the tech rep said to just shoot some silicone into the hole in the shaft end. Well I don't think that would stick to an oily surface anyway. Is there a plug that goes in the hole that is supposed to prevent this? If there is, is that inserted from the outside or inside?
The new engine will be ready for install in a couple of weeks and I want to get all of these little issues wrapped up by then.

There has been several posts on here with this problem. It happened to me as well, the metal plug on the yolk comes loose and allows oil to cover the bottom of the car.
Just remove the yolk, knock the plug out (its loose....so not to worry) scuff the metal with some fine emery cloth to give the sealant something to hold onto, clean everything well with brake clean, put the plug back in with some permatex #2 sealant, and then a bead of silicone on the outside to finish up.
Thats how I fixed mine, and no leaks at all now
First let say that Gene from Keisler taking the time to figure out who I was and track me down by my cell phone within 3 hours after I made the opening post is damn impressive. So Gene, thanks for following up. As we discussed on the phone, will drop the drive shaft tonight and inspect the yoke, then follow up.
After taking with Gene it may be something as simple as the car is on jack stands in the front as the wheels are removed for brake upgrade work and its sitting a couple of inches higher than normal level in the front which could be causing the fluid to come out. It was not overfull from the initial fill on installation.
Forrest, very good input on your fix. Gees and I thought I lived in the great white north....Edmonton is UP there.
I'll update within the next 2 days after further inspection and observation.
After dropping the drive shaft, it was obvious that it was leaking from the yoke. Keisler is swaping it out under warranty. THANKS KEISLER ENGINEERING!!!

Keilser takes care of their customers, that's why they are still around. Known Shafi from day one, had much to deal with in the beginning but looks like they are reaping the rewards of doing business the proper way
