Engine Part. What is it?? (pic inside)
I noticed that when the car is cold i have a liquid leak ... it lasts a couple of minutes and that's it.
Is it normal? what is that part?
Thanks

Take another shot a little farther back so I can see where those 2 hoses on the right are going. It looks like a coolant divertor valve.
Leave a little more info on year of car.

Looks like a heater shutoff valve but with an extra nipple.

That was my thought, but I cannot find one listed in the Doc Rebuild catalog, which normally has everything with good illustrations. It looks stock to my amatear eye, but who knows. I wonder where the coolant goes when the valve closes.

It is definitely a heater control valve - might not be the OEM style - could be someone cobbed one in that is for another application.

It is a vacuum controlled shutoff valve - I got one from napa.
The advantage of this one is that it shut off both heater hoses at the same time.
It's not a corvette part, and it's for something a lot newer - I want to say a 1990's honda - or something like that.

Leaking antifreeze is never normal. Fix it before it strands you.

I'd wait till the car is cool and tighten all the clamps , start it and look at it , it may leak cause of a crack ! Have someone switch from cold to hot inside and see if it moves ok, Ron
