Hooker Side Exhaust Header Questions??

Hooker Side Exhaust Header Questions??
I have a 1979 L48 and I am looking to purchase Hooker side pipes and headers (part #2224HKR). Do I need a different alt. bracket? I can't see how the one on hookers site will work?(part #10927) The stock bracket mounts to the head not the manifold. Is it for clearance? I need to have everything ready, because i have the use of a lift, but only for one day, and I need to drive the car out of there. If anyone has pics of this setup I would appreciate it.

I just put a set of S.S hookers on my '79. 
I had no problems with the alternator bracket,I used my stock one.I did not put the A/C back on after the rebuild so that wasn't a problem. I think the only bracket people have to change is the A/C gracket.
