i had to tear apart my dash a few days ago, so i just went out and grabbed some pictures of my set up, with out the kick panel on.

im using polk momo MMC460 50wRMS @4OHM

they slip behind the lip of the birdcage, tight fit but they do fit. you can drill a couple holes through the birdcage metal for a couple bolts for the speakers.

the kick panels go right over the top, no moddng required.

It looks like you had to cut some of the area to fit the speakers in. Am I correct...Did you end up bolting the speakers to the birdcage. Also did you change out your radio as well?

previous owner did the cutting. im not entirely sure how much was taken out, but looking at the cuts, it should still fit back there with out an issue. i havnt bolted my speakers in yet, and i dont think theyre going to move or be a problem. if im wrong, ill have to put a couple of bolts in. as for the radio, i changed the radio out long long ago. put a real nice amp and headunit in.
