chrome bumper alloy wheels

Does anyone have a pic of a bumper year car with a set of the oem alloy wheels like came in the later years. I love the look of them but would like to see how they look with a chrome bumper before I buy a set.

Don't have any pictures but, yes they look good on any C3 Vette. I used a set for my LT-1 for my race tires way back in the 90's whan I first started to race it. The only problem I see is getting decent tires for a 15" wheel in today's market.

I don't think so when the speed rating is probably a "S" or "T" rating on a car that is capable of 130+MPH. I know we don't commonly drive our C3's at those speeds but, seem that the entire handling spectrum is secondary consideration for most C3 owners. All my C3's have "V" speed rated tires on them and handle quite well. My Vettes have even been over 120MPH on rare occassions, don't try that with your tires

Those are awesome. Mine is a white 72 vert so yours is a great example of what to expect. New wheels found. Did you have to polish them up or did they come that shiny?
