Default Upper ball joints
My '77 came to me with the front suspension totally disassembled. My AIM appears to show the upper ball joints installed from the top of the a-arm which seems counterintuitive to me. My replacement joints have a nice "lip" around the top which fits perfectly in the arm if they go in from underneath. Which is correct please? Thanks in advance!

And ONLY use Moog ball joints or you will be doing it all over again real soon.
