Help removing Wiring Harness
I am trying to remove the wiring harness on the firewall in the engine bay by the steering column. There are 2 plugs that I have tried to pull out but they are not moving. Is there a locking mechanism that I need to release. I don't want to break the socket.

There is a long bolt that goes through both halves of the connector from the engine side. It has a 3/8" head on it. The bolt will not come completely out. Once it clears the threads it will spin free. You'll need to work both halves loose as they are secured to the bulkhead with sealer.
