I am one who has removed the weights from my Centerforce clutch. I have removed them from other Centerforce clutches also. Never had a problem and my Centerforce DF clutch has taken everything I can throw at it without a problem.
Thanks for the reply. How did you remove the weights?
Kinda like clutch is engaged or disengaged..not much in between?
Well no, it's always doing something just that the rate at which it's engaging seems to vary slightly. And it might just be me too, the clutch is very popular I've only heard 1 or 2 guys comment on what I'm describing. I wouldn't be turned off by my comments, I'm sure you'd be very happy with it.
Maybe Gordon can explain it a little better than me if he's noticed the same thing.

Yes I know what you are talking about and it is more of a feel than something you can explain. Mine no longer feels like this due to a hydraulic throwout bearing I now have with the T56. I used a larger bore master cylinder so my travel is quite short and positive but there is no old style clutch feeling. It just gets a little progressivly tougher to push down. The difference between hyd. and linkage clutch actuation is definitly noticeable.
Can you explain this a little more for me? Thank, Kevin
I just got my Centerforce II clutch set up tonight. The pedal feel is like the bow action on a bow and arrow. It's tight when you pull the spring, but when the bow curves or "bows", there's a zone where there is not much tension before the pedal hits the floor. Hope this describes it well.
