Default How do you keep an Edelbrock intake looking new?

I've seen some pretty poor looking intakes, and have heard plenty of complaints on how fast they begin to look like crap.
Whats the secret?

Try ordinary Tremclad clear coat it will darken it slightly but it doesn't go yellow.
One forum member had done this 5 years ago and it still looks new. Hope he joins the thread. I did it to a Performer but I gave it away, it looked good but only time will tell. When I take my RPM off in a week or so I'm going to bead blast it and use the Tremclad on it.

I would not suggest doing this unless I had seen a picture of this one intake that still looks good years later :D

I use Mother's Wheel Cleaner. It works the best of all of the alum cleaners. It's in the red bottle and has a pic of a wire wheel on the bottle.
