Water pump
I have just finished removing the water pump and a new one won't be here for a couple of days. I'm wondering if there is anything else that I should take care of while I have all of the accessories removed.

Go get yourself some of the 3' block cleaning brushes and run them into the water pump holes in the head and knock the crud out. Then flush from the heater hoses. Worth the time.
