Default 1972 C3 hot wheel

Anyone have experience with the left rear wheel hub and lug nuts becoming much hotter to the touch than the others?
I hear/feel no bearing noise and the car will coast on a slight incline so the caliper does not seem to be dragging.

Thanks!

Yes that happened to my 75, had new tires put on and the left rear mag and hub are warm/hotter than the others.
Had them check if they used the emergency brake and it got stuck, check the brakes etc.

Ordered a new rotor and steel line. when they go to install it they say, hey, your rubber line from the y block to the left steel line is collapsed but we installed the stuff any way.
New one to me, never heard of it. Would not let the brakes release after being pressed.
It did correct the problem.

jack up that side of the car .grab the wheel at 12 and 6 check for play.then grab the wheel at 9 and 3 check for play .it could be a bearing.

For it to get hot, there has to be 'abnormal' drag on that left wheel system. Either the brake is dragging or the bearing is no longer free-running (binding from wear, etc.).

Thanks for all the ideas.....it was a blocked rubber line connected to the left rear caliper. We could not even push compressed air through it. Replaced lines on both sides and all is well.
I bought the car new in late 1971; the replaced lines were original.
