rear suspension problem

Hey new to the forum i have been reading for a while i have a problem with the rear suspension when i drive the car it sways back and forth today i had it on the lift looking at it and right rear tire was hanging lower than the left there is a little play in the bearings but not alot. any suggestions wuold be greatly appreciated thanks alot Dave.

If you are moving the top of the tire/wheel in and out, have someone watch the axle shaft to see if it's moving in and out. If so, it's the stub axles, assuming your u-joints are ok. The tires can tend to droop at different heights depending on the angle the u-joints in the axle shafts were at when you put the car on the lift, but I would still check all nuts and bolts just to make sure something isn't falling off. The shocks limit how far the suspension travels. You may have a bad shock allowing the wheels to hang differently.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a missing c-clip that holds the stub axle in the differential.
