Re: Here's a pic of my car today (Steve Adkins)
Thanks for all the good word,
Steve, It's an urathane paint with clear coat. The urathate serve as a base coat. We sanded between the clear coat and the urathane coat. Suppose to be an excellent way to paint with quality. This is a daily driven car in the summer and occasional shows.
Volvette, I am not aware of Lars method as I was working with professional, they taught me their.
It's been a long three months, working 2 jobs, the pregnant wife and the car. But now it's paying off. I didn't not shoot the car but I can say I sanded 80% of it, the primer, the color and the clear coat. A friend of mine will do the polishing. It's been a great experience, time consuming but great. All that's left is the reassembly; I've taken the next week off work to but it back together.
Tonight, I'll try the 17x8 TT II on it to get me going. :D
I'll post some more pics of the final look soon.
Here a pic of my two friends who taught and helped me.
Thanks again.
