While doing a rear suspension overhaul it came to my attention that one of my trailing arms is compromised and in need of immediate replacing.
Give me the skinny on stock vs. Offset T/A's. Eventually i will be getting rims(in a year or two). So with offset i'll be able to run larger rims/tires which will be a plus.
Will my car look weird for 2 years with stock tires/rims on offset arms?
I've seen some can and some cannot have a sway bar with offset arms?
I have adjustable strut rods that came in a kit from Ecklers, will these still work with the offset....i'm guessing yet but want to make sure.
anything else i need to know or consider before buying some offset arms or maybe even stock replacements?
Give Van Steel a call. I think they may manufacture the offset arms for some of the other vendors. You may need a shortened spring also depending on the width of your wheels IIRC.

I was looking at their offset arms and the ones that said Double Off-set said they need shortened springs
So as long as i don't get the double offset i should be able to use my new mono spring i got form the Ecklers kit(360lb)
Eh...what year vette? I know on the later years, offset TAs don't help too much, as the frame sits right where a wheel would go anyway. Make sure you measure everything up VERY carefully before blowing 500 bucks PER TA on something that might not even help you much with wheel selection.

Give VanSteel a call, the number is on their website. They should have mine put back together this week. I'm getting the offset T/A but I'm going with coil overs so can't help with the spring question. I can send you some pix next week.
I have a pair of stock pieces out of a mid-70's if you need 'em until you do the complete overhaul, mine look to be in good shape. If you other one is in similar shape, it might be time!

We do mfg them and you are correct about the spring. It's all predicated on rim & tire selection.
