Default looking for Hooker Side Tubes for a small block?

I just went through Hell trying to find Hooker Super Comp chrome (or stainless for that matter) side tubes for Hooker side mount headers pn: 2234HKR
All sites have them on back order, and speaking to Hooker directly it may be July / August to catch up to the orders allocated.

The Hooker part # for the tubes: 65284HKR
I found them on amazon listed under #: 65284 and labeled Hooker Headers (no photo or desc.)

After a call, to India I think, a rep read me the description which was correct for the tubes.

I ordered the tubes for the cost of: $416.88
The amazon store, and rep, indicates there are three sets still available after my purchase.

The link is: http://www.amazon.com/Hooker-Headers...6202584&sr=1-1

Hope this helps someone skip the pain I put myself through. Good luck

Those sound like the side tubes only. You will need the side pipe headers to go with them. You will also need insert mufflers to be installed in the side tubes. There are many options on muffler inserts on this forum just do a search. The reverse flows offered from Hooker are very quiet but restrictive.

Thanks Bangkok.
I went with the Hooker Super comp Headers. It was the tubes that were "Out of Stock" everywhere (even with the sites that showed in stock). If someone is going for black or ceramic both the headers and tubes seem readily available.

Once I get the tubes I will be placing an order with STS for the baffles.
I spoke with Jim at STS and he spent time with me talking through my situation and the results I wanted / could expect to see after installing the baffles.

The STS baffles are the trick setup, you should be happy with them. Plus if you want them to have a little more sound you can just drill into the end caps.

BTW.....Side Pipes Rock.............
