Replacing headlight assemblies in '76

Replacing headlight assemblies in '76
I removed the assemblies and rebuilt with all new bushings, springs and actuator seals. I removed them with the front bumper off prior to painting. With the bumper installed now what is the best way to replace the entire headlight assemblies in the '76? Will the entire thing install assmbled from underneath or do I need to install the framework and then the housings (doors) last?
