Fan Shroud Extension Question
73 BB w/ AC
Ok, so I recently had to replace the fan clutch in my vette and the damn fan shroud extension is in the way of everything. I also noticed that the previous owner had put the screws in sideways because the fan would hit them if not. Well the screws came out and as you can see in the picture it is held together by duct tape right now....gotta love duct tape. The service manual says that on the 454 the shroud extension is only on the bottom and not all the way around like the 350. Well as you can see my is all the way around. Can anyone tell me if the previous owner put on the wrong fan shroud extension. Should it only extend on the bottom half?
