My poly bushings never slid out, but the cap washers did pop off either side in the process of installing them. Once the shims were in everything got smushed into place though.

Fishndude, what brand of bushings are you using?
I have no idea what brand they installed in the trailing arms.. The installer was Jim from "The Corvette Guys" in Wisconsin.. Here's a picture I just took of them installed.

Thanks again

Wow .. I used the Energy Suspension bushings, and I don't recall them having so much thickness past the TA sleeves. Did you verify the washers are seating in the inner sleeve correctly?

Do you think you could find out what brand those are? I hate to say it, but you might serve as a future warning to others.

Ok, I just called him and he said they make their own bushings but they will install whatever brand you want as long as you supply them.. They are installed all the way in and I know that because the passenger side didnt pop out and thats as far as they go in.. BTW, they also make their own lower shock mounts, which seem to pretty nice and great press fit..

Note to self: Avoid "Corvette Guys" of Wisconsin.

Sorry but they really should not just slide out like that. Like someone else mentioned, I would be concerned about front to rear play with such a sloppy bushing fitment.
