Help With T10 Identification.
I have a Borg Warner Super T10 and am curious as to what gear ratios it has. I pulled some numbers off the tranny, I have no idea what any of them mean. Maybe someone can use them to help ID the gear ratios. This is the stock transmission out of a 1976 Corvette:
1304065903
16S435259
13-04-066-901
WE1362
There are casting numbers all over the transmission. These are the numbers that I pulled off of the case. Thanks to anyone who can help me :)

Shane;
The last set of numbers WE1362 breaks bown as
W=Warner Gear
E= May
13= 13 day of month
6=76
So your trans was built May 13 1976.
I find conflicting information on the gear ratio. Close ratio trans was not available with an L-48. But I find two different wide ratio gear sets. One source say it was the same wide ratio for both L-48 and L-82. Another source says that L-48 had a 2.85 1st gear and L-82 had 2.64 1st gear.
Maybe some one else has a more definite answer.
2.64 1.61 1.23 1.00
2.85 2.02 1.35 1.00
You should be able to put your trans in first gear and see how many turns it take on the input shaft for one full turn on the output shaft.

According to my notes . . .
For 1976 -
The M20 wide ratio four speed had these ratios- 2.64 1.75 1.34 1.00 2.55
It was the only manual tranny available with the L48. It was the "base" tranny with the L82.
The M21 close ratio box was optionally available with the L82 only- 2.43 1.61 1.23 1.00 2.35

Re: (45ACP)
45ACP has been proven as a reliable source. I have cross checked his info a few times. I'd be willing to bet that he is right.
