Cam selection time.....
Cola Crank
Pink Rods
TRW forged flat-tops (.030" over)
Lunati 00012 Bracketmaster II cam (246/246@.050, .515" lift, 108 LSA, 104 ICL)
I have a set of ported Sportsman II 72cc heads going on along with a Weiand 8016 Stealth and a Holley 670. Hooker shorties for headers.
Depending on the head gaskets I use It'll be 10-10.5:1 static compression.
This is a Turbo 400 car with 3.08's out back.
I'm thinking that Bracketmaster is gonna be too harry for my use. I've got a spare Comp 292 Magnum (242/242@.050", .501" lift, 110 LSA, 106 ICL) in the garage, but that's probably too big as well. Kinda leaning towards a Voodoo 276 (233/241@.050", .504/.525 lift, 110 LSA, 106 ICL), but I want a streetable, yet nasty car and enough cam to keep my dynamic compression ratio cool with 91 oct. gas.
If I can find it, I've got a Yank 3k stall converter in the garage, but I can use something smaller as well.
Suggestions?
Thanks much!
