Default Offset Trailing Arm having parking brake fitment problems?

Just ordered some offset arms and started to put things together and am wondering how bad this is?

The relocated parking brake has 2 problems that i've come across already.

1. The whole for the cable to fit through is not nearly large enough. I already tried to pry it apart a tiny bit but don't want to damage anything by going farther but it's still too small to fit the cable....

2. The location they put the new bracket leaves about 6-8in of excess slack in the hardened cable section. Almost too much to where i can't fit the cable in the frame as well as the trailing arm.... Am I supposed to get a new shorter cable when using these offset arms?

The brake cable will fit, you may have to open it up a bit more to fit and you have to really push or pull the hardened cable, but it will go.

The brake cable does go behind the arm. The pic shows the cable on the wrong side. I had to change it.

yeah i just put the cable that way as it was easier to show the diameter of the cable compared to the size of the hole it goes through.

So i guess i'll just try and keep bending it to get it to fit and be mad about the quality...
