That's a very similar interior to the one I have to put in my '81. If you find a source for that steering wheel, please post it up, I see it as a perfect match.
Thats wild that your rear carpet set comes in so many pieces. Mine was one molded piece and still doesnt fit worth a damn.
My rear carpet was one piece. I had to slit it in four places to fit it around my roll bar. It fit pretty good after I carefully marked where the roll bar holes should be.

First of all.......LOOKS GREAT!!!!!!:thum bs:
good job brother.... me, im trying to get my Steeroids unit dialed in still....
Second... how much weight GAIN???? .... I know this is a big issue with you.... i am going to go your way and get the Aluminum Willwoods also.... Big weight difference...
Again..looks grest job brother...
O, one last thing, after I get the new tires and wheels what do you think we go hit ether Willow Springs or Laguna Segl when the big bad C5&6's???
The carpet set delivered was less than 20lbs, but I was replacing existing carpet, so no weight gain. The fatmat and felt prolly weighed another 20lbs but it's worth it's weight in gold. I can't remember who it was, Twin Turbo or Norval Wilhelm, that discovered the dynomat covered with felt secret.
You live right by Willow Springs. You should be hitting it at least four times a year. We have another autocross next Saturday if you want to come check it out.
Looks good bee jay. How about some info and more pics of the gauges and all and in front of the shifter. Good idea.
I did a thread on my gauge and sound system install a ways back. I'll do a search later, right now I'm headed for the beach. Happy 4th everybody.

sounds great.... ill steel your wheels~~
but yea... think i may go.... stop by the house for a beer...
Thanks. You think so? I get a ton of comments on the diamond plate floor mat.
Bee Jay
I do...
Seems like it'd be easy enough, and it definitely stands out...
I'm toying with doing brushed aluminum inserts on my 69 while I'm doing the interior. Doing the door panel inserts, front to rear on the console, and maybe some trim on the lower dash pads.
The plan is that the interior will be gray from the dash pad up (including the dash pad), across the top of the door panels and black everywhere below.
Already have a set of Black leather C4 seats all prepped...
Hey BeeJay that diamond plate looks great, and also the red anodized deal is giving me ideas too - I was just futzing with my console sides today, and after seeing these makes me say "I should do that".....
