Default A little more simple ...

Wilwood Mechanical Spot calipers worked for this guy. I would love to engineer this one!

I asked Keith at Corvette Engineering to come up with a kit. I would buy the first one. I hate the stock set up!

Wish I had seen this when I was at that point of My frame off. Would have been way easier to work on than in behind the wheel mounting flange.

I've seen a lot of German cars that come with those separate "spot" calipers for their p-brake. It's a much better setup than the drum in disk IMHO. At some point, I'm going to try to fab something up that either uses that little Wilwood caliper or one off an Audi/VW.

Interesting idea indeed. I'd like to know what Wilwood's engineers think about it.

Oh hell just drill holes around the drum , install a couple studs on each shoe , as a "parking brake" it will be hard to beat.

You only have to open your door, the rear tire is just behind you

Sign me up for the second set! I'm installing 18" wheels so there's plently of room to work with back there.

Given the wheel size wouldn't this (or the larger size) be easier and more appropriate?
