I use the GF 432 on my 68 390 horse. It looks correct under the hood. How often do you really need to replace it the way most of these cars are driven? I may drive it 3,000 miles a year so it really isn't a cost consideration.

I put a new GF432 on my BB a few months ago. I dont know how long the previous filter had been on. I expect this one will be on a long time. As with capevettes - the car doesnt get the kind of mileage that makes the cost of the filter a concern.
