Header wrap
Is it too hard to put header wrap on my 82 with the stock headers in place. Don' want to take them off. Can either do the wrap or the larger blanket type to cover them. Car does not get driven in wet and rain anymore so the topic of weakening the headers in not really an issue.

me personally with the way header wrap sucks up moister i think its a waste of time and money. Unless your doing a old school rod and want that old school period correct look. but thats my opinion and of course everyone has one. and if your looking to keep your feet from cooking from headers i had wrapped mine once and it didn't really make a difference as for the heat in the floor mostly comes from the collectors if you got longys on. a good coating of dnyomat or other deading product works good for sucking up exhaust heat in the floor.
