1980 dual exhaust headers
I have a set of headers I hate to see go to waste so im thinking of putting them on my 1980 vette. I also want to change the exhaust to a true dual system like the magnaflow on corvette centrals website.
Thing is this system seems to bolt up to the stock manifolds. Can it be cut and modified to fit up to headers?
Anyone ever done this? work ok?

ok i can see one of 4 things that might be able to be done.
1- you could cut that down if you hahave long headers you would have to either flange the pipe ends to fit the collectors or buy flanged ends and weld them one.
2- by the looks of that set up it looks like the same kit that comes with the tight tuck headers they sell the whole kit together.
3- not positive where i seen it i know i seen a bolt on exhaust from long headers back possibly summit.
4- have someone custom mandrel bend your exhaust
i opt'd for the 4th option myself as the guy doing the job is cheaper then buying a kit and doing it myself. all i got to supply is the 40 seriers flowmasters.
