Which mini starter?

Looking at the powermaster mini starter( Advance auto) or Jegs Chevy ( 12361146 which one would you guys recommend.

Depends on how much money you have spent on your motor. Nothing spectacular you can go with the less expensive model. If you have a fairly stout motor I would recommend a CSR Competition mini starter. I used the cheaper and it went out quickly for some reason. I then used the CSR models on both motors I b had built. But, everyone has different experiences. I would get a the better one and put it out of my mind. JMO

gm 12606096 fits 168 teeth ... lite, planetary gear, permanent magnet ... very reliable ... same starter on lotsa late model pickups.

I have the GMPP High Torque Mini-Starter on my BB and it has worked well. I haven't had any problems with it running, nor was it a PITA to install/shim.
