My 1980, 305 ca edition, runs perfectly most of the time. However, when I turn it off with the a/c on it will not start, no click, lights come on but nothing happens. After 10 minutes or so it starts right back up. What Gives?

Starter heat soak? Are you running headers? The starter may not want to turn over until it cools off.
Be sure to check your ground cable too, Ive had a very similar problem and it turned out the ground cable from the battery was corroded internally, the car would act very strangely with my electronics

That happens more than people think, it's best to use a digital volt meter and do a voltage drop test on the ground cable. More than a .5 volt drop is a concern.

I've had this happen with the positive cable in my truck.
