Default Crossfire Emblems???

I installed my fender crossfire emblems and the drivers side took a little tweeking to get the holes lined up but the passenger side wasn't even close. It was so badly off that I ended up cutting and grinding the pins off. Then I took some measurements from the drivers side then eyeballed it then stuck it
It looks fine but I'm wondering if there was a left and right emblem? All the venders just list one for the fender.

I just took mine off the other day. Just went and looked at them and they have the same pin locations for left or right side.

I'm thinking the guy who did my body work may have covered the holes and then redrilled them in the wrong spots???
Thanks for the reply

The fender Cross-Fire emblems were both the same, there was only one casting for both left and right. The part number for the fender emblems was 14043085. The Cross-fire emblem used on the air cleaner was a different casting, but I've never been able to find a part number in the Corvette parts book for it.
