My 68 has a fairly new aluminized exhaust system from previous owner, but it hangs too low in back.
Any tips on positioning the pipes/mufflers.
Immediately after the pipes go throught the holes in the forward frame crossmember, the midpipes take a bend. Should that bend go outboard, inboard, up or down?
I've loosened the connections and can push the mufflers up (this is where it really hangs too low). This helps a lot, but then the exhaust tips are no longer centered in the bezel. The tips rotate down and out, and this looks bad from behind.
Thoughts or tips?
Im not sure how much this will help as mine is a 73. I do know that all the exhaust on the early C3's meet close together under the rear axle Im not sure if I have any pics but I will try to find some for You.
