Default Intake Manifold Recommendations

I am rookie to the site so I am apologizing in advance if I am doing this wrong or in the wrong area.

I have a 70 small block car that I am assembling a nice stroker motor for, it has the factory LT-1/Big Block hood. My question is what manifold can I run under the factory hood? I like the Performer RPM Air Gap will it fit? If not does anybody have a recommendation that would work well on a stroker motor?

it will probably fit, but you need to match the intake with the cam and heads and more.... but first of all, what about the cam? what are the specs?

I have the standard OEM big block hood - not the L88 style.

I have not nailed down the cam yet, my intake choice is going to effect which cam (RPM range) I can go with. If the RPM Air Gap fits, I might go with Edelbrock's matching cam that they offer in roller version. I had great luck with that cam in my 350 Camaro.

Thank everybody for the information. Sounds like I can go with the RPM Air Gap with a drop base air cleaner!
