Fuel Pump Part Number

I pulled a GM fuel pump out of an '82 cross fire with GM part # 25320072. I can't find any reference to this part. Could someone confirm it is am '85 or newer pump?

I can confirm that this pump is not the original pump.. 6471925 was the original part number.

I can also confirm that 25320072 has more applications than you would ever imagine. The pump is the Delco Replacement pump but should have worked just fine in your car.
