71 Power Window Problem
Got a problem with my power windows on my 71 that I hope someone can help me with. Basically the windows don't work at all right now. I'm not even getting a discharge reading when I hit the switches. I believe I've traced the problem to a missing circuit breaker that's supposed to be on the firewall. I ordered one and installed it, the problem is....what color wires are supposed to go to it? There's one that's orange with a black stripe that runs from the power window relay under the console that I think goes to it. But what color is the other wire and where does it go/come from? I've got a shop manual and an assembly manual but neither shows the color wires to attach to the breaker. There's a pink wire from the under the console relay that goes to the fuse panel, a brown one that's a ground, and then the orange and black stripe one that should go to the firewall circuit breaker. Does anyone know what the second wire to attach is? Thanks! :confused:
