Default Need some help hooking up heater control.

Ok guys, I started this project long ago and I know times have changed but I removed my factory A/C set up from my '77. I'm sure I will regret it later but where I am now is that I am trying to figure out how to hook up all of my heater/defrost control for them to still work. Little back story - I removed my a/c because I couldn't get it to work and didn't want to divert funds from the other fun stuff to deal with it. Plus I think it made the engine bay look much nicer. Plus I'm in VA Beach, VA and the weather is normally nice enough for the driving I will be doing to have the tops off and windows down. It's already done but I am curious of what everyone's opinions are on the a/c. Any help is appreciated I promise. Thanks.

When you turn your A/C on the normal position the vacuum opens the outside air and passes outside air over your evaporator cooling the air. So this position on the A/C should be kind of like a vent without cooling. On Maximum cooling the outisde air is shut off by the vacuum and you re-cool the inside air over and over. So this positon won't do much for you. So about the only thing you'll have to do is remove the wiring to the compressor.

Purchase the 77 assembly instruction manual (AIM) and follow the regular production set up. You may not want the AC function, but you are likely to need heat and defrost.
