Is this a LT1 engine? I have the engine block #

So my uncle has a 69 corvette and i looked at the bell housing flange and saw that the engine block number was 3932386. I looked it up and saw that it is an LT1, but i thought that it came out in 1970. the other weird thing is that the corvette has a automatic transmission. Can somebody help me out please. Im so confused!

Casting number 3932386 is for a 69 350 300 HP and 350 HP motors. The LT1 motors used 3970010 blocks

So what you are saying is that i have a base 350 ci engine?

Sounds like it...350/350hp engines all were 4-speed transmission equipped. Only 350/300hp small blocks came with the automatic as an option (not counting 427/390 and 427/400 big blocks).

Yes it does. Check the pad on the block with the engine numbers and it should have the serial number also to verify if it is the motor that belongs in that car.
