Default ANTI-THEFT and INDICATORS

Hello,

I have in one of the rear compartments, that where is the jack, a relay and a flasher.
I think that these elements have a bond with “the anti-theft” system.

Who can confirm to me ?
And which can say to me if the existence of a flasher wants to say that when my anti-theft system starts my indicators do have to function ?

THANK’S

Charly

Yes, that is the relay and flasher for the alarm system. On my 71', only the horn located in the left rear fender blows, the lights do not flash.

Thank's Gary for your opinion.

Today I looked on the car and the electric diagram in detail and you are right….there is no bond between this flasher and the lights.

This flasher allows only the anti theft horn when it functions to have a sound intermitent (like an alarm) rather than a continuous sound
