'74 exaust location and mounting
When I started to remove my exhaust so I can modify it for headers I noticed it looked like it was run to close to the center of the car. I think this because it appears to have heat shields that are about 9 inches further outboard then the center on the pipe.
The exhaust looks to be a stock replacement and not a bent up Midas job.
Also, The AIM shows clamps at the front cross member and hangers by the rear bumper. The drawing shows a plate but I can not tell if it is on the exhaust or just a reference to the rear spring retention plate location.
