78 front bumper question
Hi, I got into an accident 10 yrs ago. I told the shop to put on a fiberglass one. Well I decided to fill-in the seems and when I started to grind a v groove in I saw paint,filler primer and black RUBBER!!! Now I've got a groove the hole way around it. What fooled me was it felt solid and hard. I didn't think you could put filler on rubber? Anyway can I glass it in and fill it up? Will the resin bond to rubber or do I need a new bumper?

I would say a new fiberglass bumper and an **** kicking are in order. If I paid for a glass bumper and received a bondo bumper, someone would be in trouble. Is the shop still open that did the repair work ?
